Kids Around the World
Established in 1994 in Rockford, Illinois, Kids Around the World is a global, non-for-profit organization striving to improve the quality of life for children. Their focus is on building playgrounds, providing food, and educating leaders so they in turn can teach and empower the next generation.
Balance Design was enlisted to refresh their corporate branding and tell the story of their global outreach through appealing and memorable visuals. We worked closely with their team to create a visual narrative that is modern yet rooted in the heart of their mission. We provided them with a design style that could be leveraged across all visual platforms. We started by taking their original logo and simplifying the design, as well as adding a vibrant color palatte. The result was a logo that is more abstract and aesthetically appealing, but still has recognizable ties to the original design. From there, we created a framework for all future branding and collateral, including website, invitations, and other assets.
Kids Around the World’s revitalized brand offers the structure and flexibility to create pieces using existing and future photography from a variety of sources. Their new visual identity is now as colorful and compelling as the organization itself.
